Three years of work by Bouygues Construction were necessary to erect the musical Seine with its design was conceived by architects Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines.

The building consists of an auditorium 1150 places recognizable by a wooden shell which rests a “Sail”. Consisting of solar panels, this element 200 Tons and 45 meters high rotates according to the orientation of the sun. The auditorium will be dedicated to classical and contemporary music while Great room Seine, with a capacity of 4000 Seating places, will feature contemporary music concerts.

The design of large building 280 meters long was entrusted architects Shigeru Ban and his partner Jean de Gastines. The set design of the rooms is carried out by the agency DUCKS scéno while acoustic studies were entrusted to firms Nagata Acoustics Acoustics and Lamoureux. It is along the grand foyer that organizes the backbone of the project. A great court will transition with the building and outside. Auditorium:
It is designed to accommodate a symphony orchestra or contemporary music.
