I am the daughter of Jean Benjamin Maneval, famous urban architect who notably created the Bulle Six Coques, a plastic house from the pop years.

I found a very interesting article on your website. Myself I collect the miniatures of Auto Union ie. the HORCH / WANDERER / DKW / and AUDI models to scale 1/43 & 1/18. This model in question I unfortunately missed when it was released around October 2017, now we can't find her anywhere, maybe you can help me find the model.     Incroyable de te trouver là! Par hasard.. ou synchonisation, en faisant des recherches sur ce type d’architecture Pop Moderne, les bulles fonctionnelle et protectrices et les avancées technologiques des années 60-70 en matière de construction.

    Tout un passé m’est revenu, l’Atelier Maneval, la rue du Cherche Midi, ton père et ma mère qui a peut-etre participer au projet (?). C’est vraiment super que tu fasses un tel hommage au travail de ton père et nous instruise.

    Je fait ces recherches car je vais d’ici peu effectuer une résidence d’artistes au Tétrodon, bulle allongée qui porte la nom du poisson coffre issu d’une réflexion similaire à celle de ton père sur un habitat mobile autour d’une structure de conteneur lui-même dédié au transport.
    Jacques Berce et Henri Ciriani ( mon prof d’archi à UP8, encore une coincidence) ont conçu le modèle type de l’objet. Redécouvert par hasard en 2011, le Tétrodon de Fos-sur-Mer s’est révélé être un module expérimental non développé par la suite. Rénové par l’association Par ce Passage Infranchi Il appartient maintenant à la ville de Martigues (region PACA) et destiné à recevoir des résidences d’artistes. La mienne se fera en Juin, j’habiterais dans le Tetrodon avec un ‘non artiste) et je réflechie à ma proposition que je souhaite reflective et ludique à la fois.
    Voilà..
    Sinon je vis à Marseille et vient parfois à Paris.. Ce serait une joie de te revoir.
